Thank you for your interest in the Dining Hall.
The Saint Francis Dining Hall provided meals and other services to the city's unhoused and vulnerable populations from 1971-2020.
This was a 49-year legacy of community service offered by dedicated volunteers who answered Our Lord's call to serve those most in need. The Dining Hall operated under the principle of "radical hospitality," emphasizing dignity and respect for everyone who walked through its doors.
The Parish has shifted its ministerial focus to addressing the root causes of homelessness in our community. In collaboration with Catholic Charities and other organizations, we have established Francis + Clair Place, an affordable (and sustainable) housing development located where the school and rectory once stood. It ensures residents' well-being and stability with 61 supportive housing units providing comprehensive on-site services for individuals experiencing chronic homelessness and complex health challenges.
